I am a junior developer with a passion for User Experience/Design, and currently a fourth year at Cal Poly SLO. I have a background in Computer Science and Psychology, with some course work in Graphic Communications.
As an undergrad, my goal is to intern at a company where I can utilize my skills in order to produce elegant and useful products, learn as much as I can from my surroundings and peers, and hopefully return as a full-time employee after graduation.
I am well versed in essential programming concepts such as data structures, time complexity, and object oriented programming. For coursework, I have programmed in Python, Java, and C. I am self taught at HTML/CSS/JS, and enjoys learning more about and experimenting with Web Design. I am familiar with working in the Unix environment, various IDE's (such as Eclipse and PyCharm), and Statistic applications such as JMP/Minitab (and concepts such as ANOVA and Power Analysis)
My background in Psychology and familiarity with concepts like information hierarchy helps me fuel my interest in User Experience, and helps me implement creative and efficient solutions to challenging problems.

I've always held a special love for music. I was fortunate enough to be able to learn piano and drums at a young age, and as a result I continue to play to this day. I currently play in an alternative rock band in Petaluma. Most recently I've tried my hand at learning how to produce music on FL Studios.
I have a wide range of musical tastes, from lo-fi hip hop to alternative rock to r&b.
